Pro Corda’s acclaimed series of chamber music courses have offered the highest standards in chamber music coaching for over 50 years.
Pro Corda is unique since it offers daily chamber music coaching in addition to daily orchestral rehearsals and masterclasses. We take a holistic approach, allowing the whole musician to develop and flourish in all areas of musical performance.
We pride ourselves in our pastoral care and mindful approach so that every child is warmly welcomed and inspired to the best of their abilities.
Drawing on some of the world’s leading players to form the coaching staff, core courses offer progressive levels based on age and are mainly accessed by audition and open to young string players, pianists and wind players. A seven-day residential course for young string players.
The Pro Corda Primary course aims to challenge and broaden musical minds at the pivotal age of 10-12. More advanced repertoire is introduced at this level.
This residential course takes a holistic and mindful approach that will nurture and inspire the student in more advanced chamber music.
The Intermediate residential course offers young, talented and curious minds the opportunity to test the waters with great chamber music repertoire.
