To get the very most from Pro Corda’s unique chamber music programme we advise all our chamber course students to attend both courses each school year. The second course for both Intermediates and Seniors is a combined course, held over New Year, when Leiston Abbey forms a particularly magical setting for an intensive course working with world famous chamber musicians and teachers.
The next course will take place:
All Pro Corda courses have excellent pastoral care, and this comes partly from the relatively small numbers on the course due to the emphasis on chamber music and partly from the expertise and experience of the pastoral staff. All staff are chosen for their experience and empathy with this age group, and students and parents alike will find us warm and welcoming.

The director of the course is Matthew Jones – Matthew is Senior Tutor of String Chamber Music and Professor of Viola at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Matthew is also a composer, mathematics graduate and teacher of the Alexander Technique and Kundalini Yoga/Meditation.
