Combined course for 14-18yrs. New Year ’23/24

This combined course for 14-18 year olds (School years 10-13 inclusive) brings together our older students over the New Year Bank Holiday.

As the mot advanced of all Pro Corda’s Chamber Music students they will be exploring highly challenging repertoire as they live live and work on an intense residential course with international performers and guest artists. There are many performance opportunities and coaches perform alongside students. The creative project feeds into A-level composition, and many students use this for course work.

The younger students are offered the opportunity to test the waters with great chamber music repertoire. Themes from Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Shostakovich and English Chamber Music have been explored over the past few years. Nothing is considered untouchable – ADVENTURE is the key word.
