SUMMARY:Advanced Course Summer ’26
DESCRIPTION:The Advanced Course at Pro Corda provides an opportunity to work on advanced chamber music repertoire, with coaches who have lived with, breathed and performed this music on the international stage.\nThe course accepts either pre-formed groups, or more commonly, individuals. Each player is normally placed in three or four groups and painstakingly matched on previous performances or submitted video, which enables groups to make the most of the learning experience, developing their chamber music and rehearsal skills through a wide range of repertoire.\nThere are many performance opportunities and coaches perform alongside students. The creative project feeds into A-level composition, and many senior students use this for course work.\nThe advanced course is for students 16-18 years old in school years 12 – 13.\nWe are delighted to announce that Pro Corda’s courses are returning home to our magical Leiston Abbey site. Please note that places are currently limited to a maximum of 27 students per course, so we recommend booking early to secure your place\n
